Organisers
Have no single branded workflow and spend hours reconciling data by hand.
Fragmented tooling & human error
Your event, all in.
The name comes from “lanyard”, the badge every attendee wears. Lanyo covers everything an event needs, from the first sign-up to the last check-in, on one unified platform.
New events are added by organisers all the time. Check back soon, or be the first to post yours.
Organising a run, a ride or a tournament? Post it on Lanyo: set up packages, take payments and check in every attendee.
Post your eventEach project starts with a problem someone is living with right now. Here’s how we turn those problems into software that helps businesses run better, from the first meeting to launch day.
Most event organisers in Malaysia hold everything together by hand. Registrations sit in a spreadsheet. Forms are built in a generic tool. Payments are checked one bank receipt at a time. Confirmation emails go out one by one.

Fragmented tooling & human error
Face confusing, slow sign-ups and often never get clear confirmation that they’re registered.
Drop-offs & payment anxiety
Can’t see who is running which event, or whether the content and data being collected are safe.
Zero regulatory oversight
The goal was simple: let any organiser launch and run an event from start to finish without needing a developer.
We started with the people, not the features. Lanyo has three tiers, and each one is built around what that user actually needs to do:
Oversight, governance and a full audit trail across every organiser.
Self-service tools to set up, sell and run events smoothly.
A fast, mobile-friendly path from event page to confirmed ticket.
We wrote every requirement down in a product design document with acceptance criteria, a permission matrix and workflows. That way every scope change could be traced back to a decision.
Organisers register themselves with their SSM details, then add staff and branches. Each organisation only sees its own data.
Organisers can set up multiple packages per event, such as a 5 KM run and a 10 KM run. Each package has its own options, quotas and pricing, and participants can add several to a cart.
A drag-and-drop registration form builder, a confirmation email designer with merge tags, and an event page builder. Organisers pick one of three templates or upload their own HTML.
Automated online payment through Billplz, or manual bank transfer checked by the organiser. Unpaid bookings expire automatically, and organisers get reminders if manual payments aren’t verified in time.
Participants can view, change or cancel their own registration within the organiser’s cutoff times, and request a refund through a built-in workflow.
Every attendee gets their own QR ticket. Staff scan tickets at the entrance and at item pickup counters, for example race kits or event merchandise.
Platform fees can be charged per event, per ticket or both. Admins run a daily payout to organisers from a deposit-backed account.
Organisers are verified with their SSM registration.
Payments go through Billplz, a Malaysian payment gateway.
Personal data is handled under the PDPA 2010, with a defined 5-year retention policy.
Users can turn on two-factor authentication, and a tamper-evident audit log records every action across every organiser.
Whether it’s a fun run, a conference or a community tournament, Lanyo gives your team one place to sell, manage and check in every attendee.
